Welcome to the Alternative Pool Players League. The League was
formed in 1999 and is based on four main principles:-
1. Reasonable travelling distance :- the League boundaries are Cadishead,
Eccles and Monton, avoiding excessive travelling. 2. Fair and equal distribution of subs
:- After all trophies and prizes
have been given out at the Presentation Night, subs are divided equally
between all teams. In fact in 2010, every team received £120 back, the
most ever received!
3. Keeping the same Rules, without changes every season, wherever
possible. NO WORLD RULES!
4. Encouraging sportsmanlike behaviour in the League.
This website has been set up to allow teams to download documents
(Score sheets, Rules etc.) and to supply information on meetings, minutes
from meetings, knock-out draws, results, league tables and most wins.
We’ll endeavour to keep it up to date and inform you of latest
